Indian Fitness Model Rohit Rajput Interview and Biography

Rohit Rajput is a New Delhi bases fitness model and bodybuilder. He belongs to Haryana and later on moved to New Delhi with his family. Rohit belongs to the Rajput Jaildar family. Rohit was born and raised in New Delhi and has completed his education from New Delhi. Rohit was an active sportsman during his school days and had an interest in physical activities. So he joined a local Akhada in Delhi with his cousin. Soon after joining the Akhada, he noticed many improvements in his physique so he joined a gym as suggested by his cousin.

But when he joined the gym he received a lot of hatred comments from fellow gym members as he was very skinny. Whenever he tried to talk with those guys they declined to talk with him very rudely. At that time he decided that he will work hard to achieve his dream physique. Soon after he started training under “Naresh Mann Desir”, a Railway champion. Due to his hard work, he transformed his body within 2 years. At that time he defeated many senior bodybuilders in YMCA contest. After this incident sometimes they asked me for leg workout tips as he had strong legs.

After winning some competitions his friends and family members started motivating me for further contest or bodybuilding career because he performed very well and I won many overall titles. He started his career as bodybuilder and has won almost every title in India. He has won Men’s Physique, Classic Physique. He is often called Gifted athlete because of his marvelous body.

His journey was not very smooth all the time. Sometimes he suffered from financial issues, even paying for gym fees at one time as very hard for him so he started paying fees in EMI’s. To avoid financial load he collaborated with 3-4 fellow bodybuilders and purchased supplements with shared money with them and then divided the quantity. To get over the financial crisis he started working as a personal trainer even some times did overtime of 14-18 hours and also worked in shifts. At this time he had won almost every title in India.


His biggest achievement was winning the Sheru Classic. At that time he was Asia’s first and World’s second winner of Men’s Physique class. After this competition, he received many collaboration opportunities from various international and domestic supplement brands. He did various photoshoots with many ad agencies for brand/product promotion. But in 2012, he suffered a back injury, and doctor’s advised him to quit bodybuilding or heavy training. Because of injury, he started avoiding heavyweights but he goes to the gym on a regular basis for his workout

After some time he heard about the Amateur Olympia India contest. He was very excited because his injury was improved and made a comeback in 2017 but due to some politics, he lost the competition. He was very disappointed by these results but he was also positive and motivated because he knew he has given his 100%. That’s why he again competed for Pro-qualifier series and this time he won the Gold Medal in my classic physique category.

In his personal life, he is a soft-spoken person and happily living with his brother, mother, and father. As per Rohit, his father is a real hero for him and he is a very humble personality. Rohit always believes in hard work and always dreams to win Mr. Olympia for his country.
